Cinema du jour, part 6
This is a recurring feature of YouTubeStars. I discuss some videos that were recently added to YouTube, or ones that I've just discovered. So here's the Movies of the day, part 6.
How to make a videoblog
There have been a bunch of videos made about how to be popular on YouTube. This video, by SavannahLioness, a 20-year-old woman from Toronto, is one of the better ones! SavannahLioness has made a spoof of popular vbloggers, including clips of Emmalina, FilthyWhore, Lonelygirl15 and others. There is some good analysis in her humor about how others have become popular! Also see her video, "How to be popular on YouTube" and Blunty3000's video, "Vblog - how to be popular on youtube".

Re: Who are you....Who, Who...Who, Who
The newest YouTube sensation is a 79-year-old man! Geriatric1927, whose real name is Peter, is a widower who lives in the UK and loves motorcycles. He just joined YouTube a week ago but already has almost 10 Thousand subscribers! Almost everyone shows respect for this gentleman and is happy to hear his wisdom and perspective on life. Watch as he responds to Renetto's "Who are you..." video.

Healthy Eating series
Another new YouTube member is a 54-year-old Virginia man named Urgelt. Urgelt joined YouTube a month ago and has been inspired by popular videoblogger Thaumata to make his own interesting vlogs. He has made a series on vids on Healthy Eating. He shares information in a helpful and interesting manner. He is not a physician, dietician or nutritionist and neither am I. But I think that people need to examine their diet periodically and see if they can improve it - for better health and weight management. The series begins with episode #1 and contains 10 videos so far! If you don't want to watch them all, at least watch episode #4 and learn how to avoid an excess of sugar and artificial sweeteners in your diet.
Emoticons
Here is a creative and funny video from KwaiChi. We mentioned KwaiChi before when we posted about his Anti-Racism campaign. In this video, he acts out his interpretation of a large collection of Emoticons. Watch it; laugh and learn!

FRAME
Here is a beautifully made little movie by Swisho, a 23-year-old Wisconsin woman who also has a blogspot blog, here. This 4 minute movie tells the tale of a dead man using interesting "composition and timing". There is no dialogue but none is needed in this well made film. Have a look!

By the way, SavannahLioness, Urgelt, KwaiChi, Swisho and I are all members of the YouTubeTalk forums. Come join us there and discuss videos like these!

Thanks for the compliment, Matsie!
Thanks for pointing out the error, anon. And the N key is nowhere near the D key so I can't use that as an excuse... =D
