Danni is ready for Christmas!

Guest Blogger Danielle Hatfield is back with her latest post for YouTubeStars! Danni is from Alabama and is currently a college student studying Marketing. She is also a talented singer! I was following Danni when she entered Cree Inglees Idol Search competition on YouTube. Check out the excellent singing videos on her YouTube channel! One of my favorites is this video of Danni singing Amy Winehouse's hit "Rehab" Also watch and listen to Danni sing "Make You Feel My Love" by Adele.
In her newest guest blog post for us, Danni reviews four videos about the Christmas Season! The first two are tag videos. Then we will see two videos about Christmas Gifts. See what Danni has to say and watch the Christmas videos she talks about! Danni knows about Christmas videos; she sang Rockin Around The Christmas Tree! Merry Christmas to all!
Now that Thanksgiving is over until next year, we can officially change into the wonderful holly jolly holiday season of Christmas. This time means something different to different groups of people, but for me, it’s one of the happiest times of the year! It’s a time when people have out all the beautiful decorations, and let’s not forget those sparkling lights. It’s a time when the family can get together and watch Christmas movies by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate. It’s a time of giving and receiving, but for me, the most important point of Christmas is the “Christ” in Christmas! It’s the time to celebrate the most beautiful birth of all, Jesus!
I've found a few fun filled Christmas videos to share. Now the first two videos are “tag” videos, and if you don’t know what a “tag” video is, it’s a fun type of video that helps different YouTubers get to know each other through questions. There are different themes of “tag” videos. I feel, for people in the YouTube community, it’s important to get to know each other a little, and this is just a creative way to achieve that. You can be personally tagged by another YouTuber, or you can just do a “tag” video that you enjoy and want to share. Watch this “tag” video done by both BeautyBySiena and MickieRay22, called “All I Want for Christmas Tag!”
The next video is a gift guide for stocking fillers. However, remember that we all live in different parts of the world, so there may not be the exact items available where you live……BUT this video will help give you ideas of “similar” items to fill those stockings with! This video is by FleurDeForce. She also has gift guides for her and him on her channel, so check those out!
The last and final video, that I wish to show you at the moment, is the “2012 YouTube Christmas List” by Strawburry17. This video is perfect for those that are interested in becoming a YouTuber, or just want to become a better YouTube videomaker with better equipment that you may not be sure you need. (Perfect to share with someone you want to buy you a gift. ☺ This video is also great if you are the one wanting to buy the perfect gift for someone else who is an aspiring Youtuber.

Danni Reviews 3 Music Videos

Guest Blogger Danielle Hatfield is back with her second post for YouTubeStars! Danni is from Alabama and is currently a college student studying Marketing. She is also a talented singer! I was following Danni when she entered Cree Inglees Idol Search competition on YouTube. Check out the excellent singing videos on her YouTube channel! One of my favorites is this video of Danni singing Amy Winehouse's hit "Rehab".
In her second guest blog post for us, Danni reviews three music videos by female YouTube musicians. The videos are of cover songs by Avril Lavigne, The Wanted, and Shania Twain.
See what Danni has to say and watch the videos she discusses!
But first, The News!
This week's Featured Video on our Top 100 and Top 200 Charts is a fun music video from talented teen Kendra of shadesofk3 and her girlfriends! Kendra's vocals are perfect, as usual, on this cover of Carly Rae Jepsen's song "Call Me Maybe". Click the video to see Kendra with her friends, and watch until the end because her sister and frequent singing partner has something to say!
Now, here is Danni's second Guest Blog post!
Smile
I found Rachel Thom by watching one of my favorite youtube vloggers, iJustine. She created a short song for iJustine's Vlog University homework assignments. You can check that out on her channel.
I thought she had a unique voice, so I went to her page and found her covers and original songs. However, I was surprised to see that she had the views she had because she deserves many more! You can buy her original songs on iTunes, my personal favorite is Wear & Tear. Her YouTube channel is RachelThomMusic. This young lady is very talented and beautiful with a voice to remember.
She covers Avril Lavigne's song "Smile". She makes this song her own by putting her own style to it. Here is her cover:
Warzone
Sara Baxter is a musician that's talented with vocal ability and guitar skills. She does an amazing job writing her own songs and performing covers. You can check out all of her videos on her YouTube channel, sarabaxt.
She coverers a song by The Wanted "Warzone". She puts her emotion in to the song, and you can really tell that she loves singing and playing. Here is her cover:
You're Still The One
When I was a small child, my mother and I used to listen to Shania Twain while we got ready in the mornings. I knew all the words to her CD's. With that being said, Shania Twain is one of my favorite country artist.
A girl, Danielle Moyes, that I met a while back on YouTube, use to comment on my videos. Through that we became friends, and a long time after we became friends, she started posting her own videos. It turns out that she has an amazing voice. She can play many instruments, and has a very pure sound to her voice. I personally love all of her covers. Check out her YouTube channel: dj268.

But first, The News!
This week's Featured Video on our Top 100 and Top 200 Charts is a preview video from our good friend Tiffany Jo Allen. Her NEW single is out, and it rocks!
The song is "Over You" and it reminds me of vintage Pat Benatar. The crunchy power chords of an electric guitar are featured prominently and Tiffany's vocals are strong and clear. Click the video to see Tiffany's video that previews the song. BUY the track on iTunes or at Tiffany's website. I did; this is a cool ROCK tune!

Memories
Our brain holds the time capsule, in which our memories and stories from our past are held. Some of our stories shortly fade away, or are merely just not visited often enough to remember the details. One of my science teachers once told my class statistics on happiness, and how a new home can only bring someone full joy for only around six months before the person is unsatisfied again. However, pictures…. pictures hold those memories so that they may not be forgotten or lost in time. Photographs are the boost our memory needs to remember fully. He said pictures make people happy forever because of the special memory of something in our life, such as family. The experience your mind takes on the journey of life cannot be replaced with material things. Pictures can also bring happiness to those on a bad day because they can remember a happy moment in time.
This is one of my favorite short films. I often find myself visiting to watch it several times a week. Here is Memories - written, directed and edited by Radoslaw Sienski:
We Found Love
BuskerOneK is a small two person band, that covers every song from the UK's number 1 hit, each week. The also have free original music to download at http://buskerone.bandcamp.com/, and you can see all of their other covers at http://www.youtube.com/BuskerOneK.
They cover "We Found Love" by Rihanna FT. Calvin Harris, and it is personally the best cover that I've seen of this song! They both give an amazing performance, and I also find if very intriguing that she plays the violin and sings during the video. Its very obvious that they are very passionate about their music. I can't wait to hear more from them.
Here is BuskerOneK with their cover:
It Will Rain
Kelsey Lynn is a beautiful young girl with an amazing talent for playing the guitar and singing. She puts a soft touch on the song "It Will Rain" by Bruno Mars. She really puts emotion into this song, making it all the more real. She covers many other videos on YouTube as well. You can check out her covers at http://www.youtube.com/KelseyLynnMusic. You can also follow her on twitter at @kelseylynnmusic.
