Cinema du jour, part 9

This is a recurring feature of YouTubeStars. I discuss some videos that were recently added to YouTube, or ones that I've just discovered. We'll watch two vlogs, hear a song and see an excellent YouTube tribute!

Unsystemagically Speaking
Michiko7, a woman from Germany, gives us her brilliant commentary on comments in this video blog. After showing off her "bendy" fingers, she explains, "a comment is something positive or something that helps you to improve." I agree! When commenting on YouTube, say what's on your mind but be respectful. Watch and learn!

First Blog/ Lucy in L.A.
By now, you may have seen LUCYinLA's "I Got a Callback" video which YouTube featured last week. 570 thousand people have viewed that one! But have you seen her first video blog? Lucy, 24, talks about her desire to be an actor and how that goal led her to L.A. Let's watch as Lucy introduces herself to us:

Rainbow on the Wall - A song by Alan Williams
FreeWingz has made a tribute video to awilliams100 (Alan Williams, 25), one of YouTube's most talented singer/songwriter/musician/producers. The music in the video is from Alan, who wrote and sang the song. Be sure to also watch FreeWingz' hauntingly psychedelic video "Broadcast Yourself (What will I do without my YouTube?)"

Ultimate YouTube Video
shedwa, a 23-year-old man from New York City named Shawn (his blog is here), uploaded an excellent YouTube tribute video last week. He starts off with a few short clips of YouTube in the news. Then we hear renetto from his "Who are you" video where he asks about the kind of people who are on YouTube. The rest of the video is a montage of tons of YouTubers, over the music of The Who singing "Who Are You?" Watch this video! You'll see plenty of familiar faces!
