Ladies in Red
Today I'll show you two singing videos from Ladies in Red outfits. Each has their own style, which is quite different from what you normally see on YouTube. If you like what I show you here, check out their other uploads!
But first, The News!
This week's Featured Video on our Top 100 and Top 200 Charts is a sweet home made performance video of Roxanne Andrighetti (Randrigh) singing her new original song, Find My Bliss. Roxy likes to use her music as an emotional outlet and her lyrics are often autobiographical. Here's the tags she chose, it will give you an idea about the song and its singer:

We have a NEW Featured Video every week on our YouTube Top 100 Chart. If you missed any of our Previously Featured Videos, you can still watch them here.

Pop and Jazz singer Steffi Ledbetter (singingfool14) is competing in Cree Ingles Idol Search Season 10. We love her voice and her style! Here is Steffi singing Rihanna's "Take a Bow." Also, enjoy Steffi singing a great jazzy version of "I Got Rhythm!"
Marina Orlova (HotForWords) is now a U.S. Citizen! You may have seen her recent segment about that on The Factor with Bill O'Reilly. Marina recently changed her video format to be less flashy, more serious and shorter. I like her stripped down style but not everyone does. Do you?
Now, watch the Ladies In Red!
SweetRose is a lovely lady who is loaded with style and class. She loves to sing and always has a song in her heart. Her voice is pleasant and soothing; we like to hear her sing! SweetRose also has some beautiful outfits, complete with matching hats, that add to the charm of her singing videos. Here is SweetRose singing Selena Gomez & The Scene's new hit, "Love You Like A Love Song" - guaranteed to make you smile!

Vicki Owens is an outgoing lady who loves to use lavish outfits and props to enhance her singing performances. She is always smiling and dancing around as she covers new hits and classics. Her voice is smooth and expressive; we like to hear her and watch her move! Vicki can often found at the Ark Music Factory website spreading good will with her encouraging messages on profile pages and the Ark Chat. We like her attitude! Here is Vicki singing a Parody Cover Song "Why Don't You Do Right" by Jessica Rabbit, which will also make you smile!

Jason Mraz - I'm Yours
This cool Reggae tune has been out since this past Winter but people still love it! Many YouTube musicians have covered it. Here's the Official Jason Mraz - I'm Yours video, as well as three excellent versions by Tiffany Jo Allen, Roxanne Andrighetti and Krista Nicole Hudson.
First, the News. We reported last time that "Nigahiga is now the Most Subscribed channel." That didn't last long! Fred is now in the top spot. Be sure to visit the Top 100 Weekly Chart every week to see who moved up, or down, the chart!
What is more popular, Harry Potter or Twilight? Which do you like best? The first Twilight movie is coming out next month. Watch the Trailer at the TeamTwilighter website! TeamTwilighter is a collaboration group on YouTube who are fans of the Twilight series of books by Stephanie Meyer. You'll find a list of their latest videos on their Videos page.
Someone recently wrote a review of Twilight, saying that it sends a bad message:
"If there was ever a book that deserved the medal for Worst Messages of All Time to Send to your Teenage Audience, then this is the one. Girls, life is not worth living unless you have your man. It's okay to have no dreams, ambitions, hobbies, interests, goals, ideas, friends, etc... as long as you have your man."Read more at the Books page. I'm sure the readers know that this is Fiction, and no female should be addicted to love with no regard for her own life, like Bella. What do you think???
And now, on with the "I'm Yours" videos!
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
This is the Official Jason Mraz - I'm Yours video, complete with a "post-roll" advertisement, hmm. I guess YouTube should be given a chance to make some money to pay for the storage and bandwidth that lets us all upload and watch videos for free. Enjoy the video; you can always x out of the ad if you don't want to watch that!

Roxy has two channels. She put this sweet ukulele version of "I'm Yours" on her less subscribed RoxyParadox channel, rather than on her popular randrigh one that we've written about a few times. Well, we think everyone should listen to this talented singer, so here it is, for your listening pleasure!

By the way, something weird's been going on with my camera/ youtube account, it never seems to record properly, I'm not sure why it always cuts off the end.. I tried making a few blogs and they didnt work out either cause they always cut out in mid sentence... very strange... but I'll make a blog as soon as I figure out how to get it to record properly... in the meantime, here's a song for you to enjoy!
Krista Nicole is a great singer who makes videos accompanied by her Dad on guitar. Be sure to watch her videos and learn why she won that WebPops contest last Winter! Here's Krista and Dad with their excellent version of "I'm Yours."

New for 2008
It's Super Tuesday! Who will be the Democrat candidate? Who will be the Republican candidate? I don't know! If you're looking for a political blog, this isn't it. If you're looking for interesting and entertaining videomakers and their videos, this is the place to find them! We've been bringing you recommendations on YouTubers and YouTube videos since June 2006. We have over 100 posts on this blog. We've talked about almost 200 videomakers. We've mentioned over 300 videos. Please Subscribe to Email Updates of this blog (Use the box on the left below the Links) so you can stay up to date with YouTube News and the latest and greatest YouTubeStars!
So what's up with YouTube? Is the video sharing service still the hottest thing online? Is it still gaining new users/viewers? According to this January 21st TV Week story, YouTube's traffic decreased for 2 weeks in a row in January. Now, this February 4th TV Week article reports this about YouTube, "For the week ending Jan. 27, the world’s biggest video site drew 30.7 million unique visitors, about on par with the week before..." It appears that the number of people visiting YouTube has plateaued. But if we look at the number of subscribers for the Top 100 Most Subscribed YouTube Channels, we can see that the number of subscribers keeps growing for almost all channels on the chart. How can this be? If the number of visitors is not increasing, then either the visitors who do visit YouTube include many who are signing up and subscribing to channels for the first time, or current YouTube members are subscribing to more and more channels over time. I know I fall into the second category. I didn't subscribe to many channels for the first several months of my YouTube life. But now, 18 months into my membership, I subscribe to 366 channels!
Is there a better site to share videos on? Well, last year at this time, everyone was singing the praises of LiveVideo. It seemed that everything that didn't work on YouTube worked very well on LiveVideo - and their videos were in stereo, an improvement over YouTube's mono sound. Many YouTubers created an account on LiveVideo and many still post videos to both sites. LiveVideo even has some very entertaining channels that are not on YouTube, such as blonde teen vlogger Alex and the one and only Captain James T. Kirk (now Denny Crane), William Shatner. But YouTube has fixed some of its problems and it still has a much larger community than any other video site. Even so, it is a very good idea to sign up with LiveVideo! Don't put all your video eggs in one basket, show your videos on YouTube AND LiveVideo. Please click on the "Less Tube. More You!" ad at the top of our lefthand column on this page to check out LiveVideo. Get your account there TODAY!
What's up with Renetto? Is he teaming up with partners to create a better YouTube? Check out his long and emotional half-hour video, "Take a wild guess who I TAGGED... " and also his vid on organizing the revolt. Let's see where this goes!
In the meantime, several YouTubers are doing very well for themselves! We've talked about TiffanyJoAllen here several times. She is a young country singer who became famous from her Yodeling skills and is now becoming a YouTubeStar by posting country covers of pop tunes. Here's a chart of her subscriber numbers, as recorded by our FREE YTStats service:

VenetianPrincess recently won Samsung's national talent search, the Jukebox Hero contest. She was awarded $10,000 in prizes of her choice; congrats Jodie!!! Also, her music video will be played on the Samsung cell phone commercial, and she will be going on a televised promotional tour for Samsung across the country! Read more about the contest, here. Here is VP herself, talking about this news in a video:
Madeline, the How To Girl, has been on the Rachael Ray show! She's also been on a Wisconsin NBC affiliate's news show. Watch Madeline's behind-the-scenes video as she is filmed on the NBC show along with a Rachael Ray clip, here:
Now, here are 4 NEW videos by 4 talented YouTube ladies that we've talked about here before. Watch and enjoy!
UndiscoveredJulie had not made a video for 2 months and she was sorely missed! Now she's back to answer questions, make funny faces and sing a song. Julie always makes great vids with improv'ed sketches, cool accents and sweet songs. Subscribe to UndiscoveredJulie now!
Randrigh is back too! I love Roxy's music and her little stories that often preceed her singing. Roxy has been having tough times in Japan and that has led to some powerful new original songs. In her own words,
I was thinking about how when people find something beautiful, like a flower, they feel the need to take it and make it their own, tearing it away from its home and putting it in a glass vase (killing it in the process) admiring it until it dies and then having to throw it out...what a tragic waste of beautiful life!Subscribe to randrigh now!
I figure if we really loved something we would simply let it be, rather than wanting to have it and killing it in the process...
so I guess this song is about learning to admire things that we find beautiful from a distance rather than rushing to possess it and killing it in the process... it's also my way of saying that life, in any shape or form, is too precious to let it go to waste, especially for selfish reasons...
TiffanyJoAllen is a rising YouTubeStar! As I mentioned above, she now has almost 9 thousand subscribers. Everyone loves her country versions of pop songs. But right now, lets watch Tiffany talk about a scary health issue she recently had to endure, due to her braces! Tiffany says,
Braces can make you very sick. Share this with your friends. Not being able to breathe is very scary and can be life threatening. I wentSubscribe to TiffanyJoAllen now!
to so many doctors and had so much testing. I hope by telling my story I might save even one person from having to live this nightmare. Thankfully,I am well now since mine were removed. If you have questions please feel free to ask. I can share my experience but ultimately you will need to ask your doctor.
We've been writing about Daraghna since she was "just little." Angharad had been away too; it had been 7 months since her last video, way toooo long! She's back with her version of Amy Winehouse's "Rehab." Enjoy her unique and stylish interpretation of this cool song, then watch some of her other videos. Subscribe to Darahgna now!

The YouTubeStars Show!
Come on in - sit down and get comfortable. It's time for the YouTubeStars Variety Show! Live, in the YouTubeStars theater tonight, we'll see a singer, watch a birdwatcher, enjoy a classical guitarist, and thrill to a crowd of youths singing along with an American Idol. Get ready, the show is about to start - and it's a really big show!
First, a little news. For those who have not heard, YouTube has rolled out revenue sharing. Don't get too excited yet... only a few people will get any money. Read the YouTube blog entry about this, and also see this New York Times Story.
Friends, if you like YouTube, you'll like LiveVideo too! I'm sure you've heard by now that LiveVideo is a video sharing site very much like YouTube, except the comments, messaging and blocking systems seem to work better there. Also, the sound of their videos is higher quality, and in stereo! If you have a YouTube account, you should have a LiveVideo account too. Click on the blue LiveVideo banner on the left and join now. Many of your YouTube friends are already there, and so is Captain Kirk - that's right - William Shatner makes videos on LiveVideo - and you should too!
Invisible (Original)
First on our stage tonight is a nice young lady nicknamed "randrigh". Roxy is a singer/songwriter from Canada who plays the guitar and the piano. Let's give a warm welcome to Roxy, here to sing us an original composition called "Invisible".
If you can't see the video above, watch it on YouTube.
Thank you Roxy, that was a wonderful performance! I may have heard one mis-strum but your smile made up for it! I recommend that our audience also watch Roxy sing for her sister and play the piano. She is really a talented young lady and we're glad that we had her here on our stage tonight!
Oh, you caught me off Guard!!!?!
Next on our stage, we have a delightful nature/comedy skit about birdwatching, by pagekv. Kathleen recently moved from the Chicago area to scenic Arizona. Let's watch as Kathleen watches the birds, and us!
If you can't see the video above, watch it on YouTube.
Thank you, Kathleen - love the hat! I want our audience to know that Kathleen is more than just a pretty face - she also is a talented artist and sells her own "jewelry made from the heart"!
Memories - Classical Composition
My good friend capo420420, who has wow'ed the audience playing his guitar on this stage and recently had the number 5 most watched video on cellphones, has been telling me about a classical guitar virtuoso named chudnovsky. This young man named Alex composes his own classical tunes and plays them on his guitar. He can also be seen on LiveVideo and we're proud to have him right here, tonight! Please welcome chudnovsky, playing "Memories"!
If you can't see the video above, watch it on YouTube.
Thanks, Alex, for that wonderful performance. You know, Alex can rock too! I know I caught you by surprise, but play us a little electric guitar jam! Ahh, very nice, Alex!
YouTube Webstars - Since You've Been Gone - Kelly Clarkson
And now, to close out the show, we have a nice group of young people singing and dancing to Kelly Clarkson's hit song, "Since You've Been Gone." This performance is choreographed by agentScarn. Let's have a really big hand for these fine youngsters!
If you can't see the video above, watch it on YouTube.
That was a really fine performance! Our audience will also want to see agentScarn's youngsters singing and dancing along to Cascada's "Everytime we touch" - it's really a lot of fun to watch!
That's our show for this week. Join us here at the theater next time for another really big show! Goodnight!
